For Luisito Burger's Christmas campaign, we created a video that parodied classic holiday specials. The aim was to announce their closure from January 1nd to 15th, while highlighting the continued availability of delivery services. We sought to evoke nostalgic Christmas commercials, but with the brand's distinctive bold, rebellious, and alternative style.
The narrative featured an unconventional Santa Claus, characterized by a graphic tee and a slightly disheveled appearance, reading through Christmas wish lists. Upon encountering a request for a Luisito Burger, he promptly retrieved the order with the Elf Chef for a special delivery.

We envisioned a Santa Claus that departed from traditional portrayals, opting for a casual and unconventional character. Therefore, we outfitted him with a Christmas jacket, hat, sunglasses, a graphic tee, shorts, and a cigar.
In this scene, Santa is seated on a wooden chair, reviewing Christmas letters. He opens a third letter and reads, 'Santa, I want a Luisito Burger.' Notably, the actor portraying Santa is a real-life Luisito delivery driver and a former Santa Claus for events.
Originally, the scene relied solely on voice-overs. However, Rheyder, the actor, delivered an improvised performance, adding a unique and special touch to the commercial.
We sought to create an Elf character with a classic Christmas aesthetic, but with a modern, laid-back style. This was achieved through a beanie with ears, headphones, rings, an orange jacket over a green sweater, and the signature Luisito sunglasses.
In this scene, Eliazar, Luisito's actual cook, is shown in his kitchen, with the brand's sign, delivering the order to the letter's recipient, dressed as an elf. The comment 'And my iron?' was a humorous reference to this situation. Luisito's employees are really good performers.
From the initial moodboard stage, they were ideal for portraying the family ordering the burger. For the Christmas dinner scene, we adapted the existing house elements to create a warm and festive atmosphere. This concluded the three scenes, with Santa delivering the final message about the delivery service.
This project marked Paola's and my first collaboration as art directors in the city. Following our work with Padrísimo, this video represented our first major undertaking, leading to further collaborations with the brand and the team. You can see more behind-the-scenes content on Instagram.
