This video initiated a three-part campaign created for Otra Rutina, a themed event organizer located in Puerto Ordaz. The company specializes in producing immersive parties that transport attendees to various historical eras or generate memorable experiences.
The video's concept aimed to illustrate how Otra Rutina 'breaks you out of your routine.' This was achieved by depicting characters playing a board game, also named 'Otra Rutina,' which served to announce the theme of their forthcoming party.

The board game featured in the Otra Rutina video campaign served as a central narrative element. Created by Ana Cedeño, a plastic artist, the game, also titled 'Otra Rutina,' was designed to illustrate how the event organizer 'breaks you out of your routine.'
The main idea was to draw inspiration from the game Jumanji, where players are transported to different worlds. We designed the 'Otra Rutina' game with the brand's next four planned events in mind, adapting the visual elements to the color palette created by the designer for the brand's identity.
Characters within the video were depicted playing the game, which also functioned as a tool to announce the themes of upcoming Otra Rutina parties. This visual element was integral to the campaign's narrative, acting as both a prop and a storytelling device.
The video begins with a table in front of them where the fictional game 'Otra Rutina's' box is located. The person, who is in a meeting, takes out the board to start playing. They then roll the dice, which land on the 'party to return to the past' square. A close-up of the logo on the board closes the video, giving way to the brand's logo.
This is the first of a series of three videos, designed to attract people looking for different activities in the city, inviting them to 'change the routine'. For the video's styling, we selected props that complemented the 'Otra Rutina' game theme and created a fun, immersive environment. We included elements like the game box, alcohol bottles, glasses, snacks, educational games, retro games for decoration, and colored lights for lighting and ambiance.
Each cast member was assigned a distinctive color: yellow for Julito, pink for Miliusca, green with purple accents for Melanie, and orange for Beca. Interestingly, the chemistry between the friends was so good that they improvised several dialogues that ended up in the final version. Additionally, everyone followed the costume instructions to the letter, creating an aesthetic that evoked the style of the 2000s and how that era influenced fashion.
To wrap up the carousel campaign, we featured our mariachi, instrument in hand, all set to sing serenades right in front of Luisito Burger's bright red sign. This basically shows that he's back on his feet and now he's buddies and business partners with the burger joint.
